220f federal barnes expander hollow point

has anybody tried the federal Barnes expander hollow point 3in in the 220f i ordered the tipped expanders from sportsman guide and i got the hp. no return, no refund, they offered 5 bucks off shipping if i reordered told them no thanks.

Havent tried the HP, but the 3" tipped shoot AWESOME out of my new 220f..Sure you probably didnt wanna hear that though, huh?LOL

Only one way to find out how they shoot...Who knows, maybe you'll be ordering more.

Mine didn't like the 3" tipped version at all. I've got a box of the 3" HP waiting but haven't had her out since I bedded the front pillar and recoil lug.

Try 'em out and report back!!!

shot the federal 3in 20ga with the expander bullet shot well 1.75in at 100. the 2&3/4 remington accutip shoots a little over an inch with less recoil. my nephew has been drawn for a shot gun only youth hunt i will probably stick with the accutip. one thing i found out is that my barrel has to be cleaned every 3to5 shots or it will throw a flyer
