boyds stocks on amazon?

I just found a boyds prairie hunter for my axis on amazon and wondering what you guys thought? they say its actually from optics planet but with my amazon rewards the stock will be about $100 so if its good to go i will go that route.

also does anyone supply metal trigger guards for boyds axis stocks other than boyds? they want $15 to ship theirs.

Boyds has a number of dealers peddling their stocks these days, both online and off. As for the trigger guard, it's just a standard 110-series trigger guard for the top bolt-release guns that you can get from several different vendors.

Got the same stock in pepper for my axis. I ordered a metal trigger guard with it and ended up with 2 because the one on the stock was metal too. I put the extra on my old 110.I

I installed pillars and bedded the action. Had that rifle out today. Really do love the way that rifle looks.
