So I was contemplating another build. I would kinda like to build a heavy barrel 30-06, but I would like for it to hold more than 4 rounds. What I am wanting to know, is there anything out there magazine wise that can work with 30-06? Any "off the shelf" or aftermarket mags/DBM?bottom metal that can work with 30-06? Or would this be all 100% custom?
I have done a little searching and have found lots for 308 and similar sized cases, but nothing for long stuff like 30-06.

I love my HB 30-06, Shilen.

I just single load it.

Even with the weight, shooting 50 a session, I upped the pad to as thick as I could get in Kick eeze.

Only log action magazine type I know of is a 338?

Accurate Mag makes a true 30'06 magazine.
It works with any LA bottom metal that accepts AICS patterned mags.
It only holds 5 rounds.

I was not aware of that company. Looks like they make some really nice stuff. Definitely gonna bookmark for future reference.
5 rounds is better than 4, but still would kinda prefer 10. Gonna keep digging around online a little more to see what I can find.

Nice, I had no clue magpul made those! Definitely like the $39 price tag as opposed to the accurate mag's $78. I could buy two of the magpuls for the price of one accurate mag.
