Will a barrel off of a 10 stealth fit on a 10 fcp-sr

I'm looking to replace my 308 barrel with a 6.5 CR. There's one on eday says uts off a savage 10 stealth I believe. Wandering if it will fit my 10fcp-sr. thanks

If it is a small shank it will fit. If it is a large shank it will not. Your FCP-SR is a small shank.

No it won't. The stealth is large shank and the fcp is small.

Maybe the stealth is a different animal than the original 10 BA???
I just figured since they were both short action and had the BA title that they would be interchangeable.

I screwed the fluted threaded barrel off of one of the original model 10 BAs onto an old small shank 110 flatback action no problem. Getting the stock to fit the resulting long action heavy barrel was the only minor issue.

I guess that's what I get for figuring that the short action BAs would be the same and am sorry if my post caused any one a problem.

Can't tell you about the BA but I'm positive on this one. I would take a picture but my stealth was mover to a tac21 so idk if I can see the barrel nut without removing stuff.
