Will a model 25 fit a model 40 stock ???

I have an extra model 40 single shot stock and am thinking of getting a model 25. Wonder if the 25 will go in the 40 stock. I don't need the magazine since I only bench shoot so I'd make the 25 a single shot if possible.

No it won't. The Model 40 was based on the Mark I/II/93R rimfire action, the Model 25's are a totally different design.
