Want to get a better stock for my Cabellas 12FV in 223. Since I may buy a 308 brl in the future for it, I would like to get the right stock now. Do the Savage dbm mags come in 10 round size? Does someone make a sled for the Savage dbm mags to single round load? New to the Savage platform, but I already sold my Rem 700 because this 223 shoots so good. Thanks much

Yes there are 10 rd dbm mags 4 308. I am not sure if they exist for 223. You can call Savage and buy magazines and many parts directly from them.

No sled for centerfeed that I am aware of which is what you have.

You will need a new bolt head and baffle to change from 223 to 308. And new magazines.

The 223 magazines have a spacer to push the 223 round forward in the magazine.

Sharp Shooter Supply (SSS) has a Single shot loading ramp that works very well with Savage actions. They also have the Fred Sled which is a removable DBM fitted with a single shot ramp. It works with Savage OEM DBM bottom parts which include the metal DBM frame assembly and magazine bottom cap. The bottom cap snaps onto your current .223 blind box magazine and follower converting it to a DBM. A Savage SA, CF, DBM factory or aftermarket stock with the top bolt release will fit the 12FV action. You can contact Savage Arms with your rifle serial number and order these parts. Might as well get a metal trigger guard also to replace the plastic one. You will also need the shorter front action screw for a DBM stock.
