I have a model 67 series E. I love that shotgun. I also inherited it.

I did have to replace the hammer tho, it had wore out around the pivot pin. It had had literally thousands of rounds put through it before I got it, and I had put several hundred through it before it developed a light primer hit issue. I took it apart and saw that the pivot pin had worn almost all the way through the front edge of the hammer.
