Got some 60gr VMax and some 69 gr Sierra MK HPBT. Bought Varget and IMR 4895 powders.
Currently using Nosler Brass and CCI small rifle magnum primers. Anyone else had luck with anything like this? I'm looking for a good round for (hopefully) 400 yards. Any recommendations of other bullet/powder combos?

I have had success with the 69 smk and varget with cci small rifle and br4 primers

I had good load with imr 4895 68gr hornady match

(Assuming we're talking 223 Rem) I found 69 gr SMK and 8208XBR worked well with CCI 400 and Fed or Win brass. 69 gr seemed to prefer a healthy jump, around .025.
