Well G'day from Australia guys,

I currently own 4 SAvage rifles from .22RF, 17HMR, 223REM and 308WIN.

I am currently looking for some accurate starting points for several projectiles namely Hornady. Pills used are 40g, 50g 60g V-max, 52 Amax and 52gn Match as well as the 75gn Amax. I shoot mainly to 300m( competition) but use the varmint pills for general hunting.

Powders i have on hand are ADI BM1 BM2 2206H 2207 2208 WIN 748 and Re 7.
i stick with either Rem brass or winchester. ANd use either BR4 or rem 7 1/2 primers...

Any helps guys would be appreciated as i'm sick of being beaten by the Remi boys at the range.....

Get some H4895 powder and Sierra 63 grain Semi Point bullets. I've not had much luck with the V-Max bullets in my gun but the Sierra's are excellent performers.

28g W748 behind the 50 gr Vmax, any primer.
Goes 1/2" out of all my FP10s in .223.
2.230" COL

I just won a 200yd BR match using 69g Sierra MK's with 23.4g of H4895 and fed205M primers. COAL was 2.358" (just off the lands). I was in the "target/varmint" class, but actually beat 2 6PPC "benchrest" class guns :) This load averages sub .5 moa in decent weather conditions.

I have been having good luck with 52gr Smk and Varget as well as 75gr Hornady HPBT and varget. Just Started load work on the 75s but out of all the groups i shot today the largest was just over an inch and the smallest was around .5.
