I am going to be installing a Choate tactical stock on a 110 long action in 338 lapua and I was wondering if I should bed the action/receiver into the new choate tactical stock, or will it be okay and shoot great without bedding the action into the stock. ????

I would greatly appreciate any and all suggestions and advice.

Thank you

Well they have a aluminum block that supports it and does very well

If you continually have grouping issues with fliers that you can't contribute to anything else, sometimes bedding the recoil lug in v-blocks or Chassis systems is all it takes to clean up the consistency issues.

Okay thank you for the info. Will try it out first and then see if it needs it.

Bedding mine made a small, but noticeable improvement in accuracy.

I have yet to bed mine and the way it shoots probably never will.
