They are about an even match with Savage barrels for quality. Most shoot decent per Savage, same rough interior that makes cleaning more of a work out

If we assume that everyone makes a dog occasionally, then RC20 is right on the money. I've had half a dozen shaw barrels, and currently still have one. The current on I bought from GunShack, and is screwed on an XL7. As it came, there was a VEEERY slight tight spot near the muzzle when cleaning. I shoot a lot, so couldn't tell you how many rounds I shot before the tighter portion left, but wasn't long. The barrel has always shot exceptionally well. I have used it and done some scope reviews where that barrel was shooting 55-gal drum lids at a mile. Cleaning compared to a hand lapped barrel, will be more until you get it smoothed out from firing.

I bought two Shaw barrels from Gun Shack. Both are 3/4 minute shooters. That is after working up the load and playing with the seating depth. The throat on both my barrels was very long, like 130 thou.

My experience was good as well. That being said another 140 bucks and I can have a lapped barrel.

5 shots, 600yds, 10-15 crosswind. AGW 6.5 Creedmoor

For the money, they are hard to beat. I have a couple shaw barrels that shoot exceptionally well.

FWIW had one in 338-06.

Shot great, very accurate.

Obviously a hunting vs a target or comp round so 1/2 -1 MOA was acceptable to me.

Shot great but as others have said a little rough when cleaning.
