Hello all,
I've been sucking up info on this site for a couple of weeks - Lots of great stuff! I'm owned a lot of Savage centerfires over the years but have only had my 93R17 for about nine months. Great little rifle, but like others, am having mag issues which do not allow reliable feeding due to a sloppy fit. I recently sent the original mag in for a replacement, and the new one worked great for about 50 rounds. Now it seems to have a lot of additional play between the notch for the mag and retainer spring. What gives?
