Finally narrowed down some loads to try some five shot groups. The 2.285(.030 off) and the 2.240(.075 off) are very similar.
Probably about as good as my limited experience and 66 year old eyes and steadiness will allow. Are these groups normal for a novice with front and rear bag only. All at 100 yds.
I am going to do some more 2.275 and 2.240 with both @ 24.7 Varget.
Anything pop out at you or any other suggestions? All are 69 gr. SMK, 12FV,1:9.

I would shoot the groups. If you don't like them lets talk.

Do you see something in one group over another? Plan on loading more than five to try some longer range shooting.

It sounds like your seating depths have found two different barrel timing nodes and close enough to make it a difficult choice between the two.

When this happens to me, whether with charge weights or seating depths I use longer distance as the "tie breaker". If both look the same (or close), move the target out to 200 yards and see it that opens up the difference. At 100 yards a group size difference of only a small fraction or an inch is magnified by a factor of 2 at 200 yards. For me anyway, it's always sorted out which one is best.

Go with that. Shoot longer. Eventually you will find an advantage to one load over the other. If not, I chose the shortest coal to keep from having feed issues.

That is a great point and have been single feeding so far. That is something I will follow up on.
