2017 Savage Axis 25-06Rem c/w Vortex Crossfire 4-12*50 AO, in a Boyds stock.
With the original Tupperware stock, groups where 2-3" at 100yds. Boyds stock reduced groups to 1-1.5". Installed a pillar and metal mag clip kit, rifle now groups 117gr Sierras, IMR8133 @ 3100fps Sub MOA.
This Boyds stock had a warning sticker warning not to over torque the action screws. So, I installed the pillar & metal mag clip kit from V3precision (https://v3precision.com/front-magazine-clip-pillar-kit-savage-axis/).

2016 Savage Trophy Hunter 300Win Mag c/w Vortex Crossfire 2-9*40 V-Brite. Disappointed with the Factory finish, finish is starting to crack & flake around the cross bolts. Rifle likes expensive 200gr Nosler Partitions & unobtanium IMR8133.
