stevens 53-B peep sight help, please

I picked up a nice stevens 53-B, but it had no sights. I found a rear peep that will work, but I don't have the mounting screw. it is a single mounting screw, I think it might be a thumbscrew. I tried an 8-32 screw and it is very close, but not quite right. the thread pitch must be close. does anybody have one that they can measure the threads on for me? IIRC a springfield 66 is similar, as is a stevens model 3.

I too am now looking for this peep sight and having difficult time finding any info. The Stevens Model 53B I have has 2 vertical grooves on the left hand side towards the rear on the receiver. There is 1 tapped hole in between the grooves. Anyone who could help determining what type of peep sight I am looking for would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Delloro mentioned he had photos, boy I would sure like to see them of this peep sight.
