6.5 Grendel questions

Folks you that have built 6.5 Grendel's on a Mod 10 can I ask what magazine box you used? this one is a blind mag stagger feed 223 at the moment but kicking around ideas and would like to have the ability of a repeater. I may have some other questions to bother you with but they haven't popped up yet :) Later,

I have a 6.5 Grendel AR that I love. I would also like to do a build for a bolt gun. I think you would be fine with the .223 mag. My AR platform will run fine out of standard .223 pmags. The 10 rounders feed fine and so do the 30 rounders. It when you get down to the curved part of the 30 round mags that you run into a problem. I think you will also have to change the bolt head, as the diameter is different. Keep us posted on your project.

I tried the Savage 4-round mags for 7.62x39 but couln't make them feed right. Also extraction was problematic, so I went back to .243 win!

Thank so fellas! I've been looking for blind mags for the stagger feed and haven't had much luck for some reason my google due is broken! I'm not 100% sure on the Grendel or a 6mm Fat Rat but either way I ordered a bolt head from ptg as it's going to be chambered in one or the other and both use the same case. I've got to get my 300wm finished first BUT planning for the next one :) Later,
