Hi everyone,

I have a Boyds pro-varmint for my model 10 with bottom bolt release. With some minor inletting will this same stock fit a model 10 with top bolt release? I have also looked at model 12's that appear to have the same action hole spacing of 4 7/16", but again have a top bolt release. Will such a model 12 fit in this Boyds?

Thanks everyone,
Cal.

Yes, maybe a little Dremel work on the right side and possibly some trigger clearance if you run across it. It has been a while. I just remember it is do-able.

Thanks Robin. I've I'm understanding you correctly, I should be able to fit both the model 10 and model 12 with a bit of Dremel work?

Thanks again Robin,
Cal.

Yes. Dimesionaly they are the same if they are the 4.4 action screw spacing. The sear is different between the top and bottom release as is the room for the bottom release hardware in the trigger pocket.
