Picked up an almost new (~100 rounds) Savage 11/111 Trophy Hunter XP in .308 a few weeks back as my first long range equipment. I have since shot 100 rounds at 50, 100, & 200 yds. So far, it has been fun. I have had pretty decent groupings. Added a limbsaver pad to ease the recoil. The next thing that I'd like to do is to get a heavier stock and a good bench rest. Looking for suggestions.
