I went to one of my local gun shops this afternoon and asked if they had any primers laying around. Turns out they did! The guy said they had small and large rifle...good news! He showed me a box of 1000 winchester WSR's that had a price tag of $9.99. I was ecstatic thinking I had made the find of the year. Turns out, the sticker had some fine print, it said, "Per 100". Ouch!!!! Are you kidding me?!? $100 for 1000 winchester WSR's?
Probably doesn't help that I live in the socialist republic of CA.

Please tell me this is going to end soon.

Sounds like a good place to boycott.

Naa, it's not the state's fault. Your supplier is just a thief. Just today I bought 500 Magtech small rifle primers at $3.74 per 100 right here in So. Cal. ;D

The only thing comforting me now is the fact that I have approximately 2500 mixed small/large rifle primers. If I was in a pinch, I might be paying $10 per 100 >:(

Supplier is a thief all right. Cabela's sells primers for $30 - $32 per 1,000

Even in the republic of Kanada, primers go for about $4 per 100.
