Magazines for 111 lrh 300 win mag, who sells them?

Hi, I am having a hard time finding magazines for my new Savage 111 Lrh 300 Win mag. I have the one with the detachable box mag, not the one that sits in flush with the stock.

I have found magazines for the 338 that looks like it is the same, but with it being 99$ I don't want to order one to try out and not have it fit.

Any pointers would be much appreciated.

I thought only the 338 Lapua had the 5rd extended magazine and the 300winmag had the 3rd flush fit dbm.

Did you buy this rifle new ?

Yeah, they have 2 models. One has a rail and muzzle brake (non adjustable) and the other no rail and an adjustable brake.

I just ordered it, so I don't have it yet. Looking into it some more, it does seem like 300wm does not have the detachable box or the fixed brake.
I guess the site I ordered from just chose the wrong picture. They used the same picture for 308 300wm and 338. Darn. I guess I have to get a picatinny rail as well since I already have Vortex rings ordered for my Leupold.

It's always a good idea to have rifle in hand before ordering anything for it.

Problem is 2 things. Savage doesn't provide enough info and the re-seller doesn't either.

For a hunting rifle I much prefer a flush fit detachable magazine like on the 300winmag. Savage went with a 5rd extended mag for the 338LM because a flush fit mag would only fit 2 rounds !

Savage couldn't even tell me when I emailed them. I'm going to chalk it up to an inexperienced rep.

Makes sense not to have the mag snagging on things when out in the field. 2 rounds would be annoying. Aren't the 300wm and 338lm pretty similar in cartridge size though?

I let the store know that their pictures are messed up, they're using a picture of the 338 for 308 300wm and 6.5. They didn't care and seemed annoyed I noticed....
