Accurate Mag bottom metal - flare the magwell?

my Accurate Mag bottom metal is a pretty close fit on the body of the mag. on other guns (1911 for example) it is often advised to "flare the magwell" by adding a bit of taper to the opening to ease guiding the mag in.
any opinions?
