So...my user name starts with all three of my initials, nothing else implied there.
i now own 2 savage rifles; one model 11vt dicks exclusive heavy barrel chambered in .308 that is probably more accurate than I am. The other is a model 11 trophy hunter package, again bought at dicks, and also probably more accurate as I am. I love both rifles for different reasons. The .308hb is an excellent bench rifle, because the balance point is on the front sling stud. The 243 trophy hunter is an excellent walk around gun, balanced at the magazine.
I just signed up for this forum because I've ordered a ss heavy barrel bmag and have been reading every post I can find on all the bmag models. I'm hoping that the bmag is one of the good ones, it seems as if they are hit or miss.
