Hello from Central New York

My name is Chris. I am brand new to shooting and hunting. My firearm is a Savage 220 slug gun that my father left me when he passed away 3 years ago. I was never interested in that kind of stuff as a kid, but I grew an appreciation for it once I finally asked my Dad to take me shooting at his local rod and gun club. Its taken me 3 years but I am finally registered for my first hunter safety course on April 30th.

Welcome Chris, great to have you here,, another Yankee, close by is good. I'm about an hour south of Rochester and shoot up at Clyde Savana once a month at 300 yard match's. Send me a PM if you ever get the it to shoot 300 yards with heavy barrel target rifles from the bench. You could use one of mine at a match or watch and just shoot a few after the match,, heck bring the slug gun.
