Old but new from NW Michigan

Newbie (sounds great when your 78!) from NW MI and recently purchased my first (that I can remember!) Savage rifle. Being a fan of lightweight rifles, I purchased a Savage 16 LWH .243 that weighed in @ 5.5 lbs & 6.5 lbs. scoped. Have a few questions on loads, stock fit, etc. that I'll post in the proper section. Belong to many other shooters forums & looking forward to gaining Savage knowledge here.
