I have an 110e 30-06 and i don't know if i wanna get rid of it or if i wanna just add an sss or an accutrigger too it. Any suggestions or ideas.... I love the gun but it just seems too plain let me know what you think

The beauty of the Savage is the ability of the owner to dress it up, change calibers, etc without having to pay a gunsmith to do the work.....................food for thought.

Some of my best shooting guns started life as an plain Jane 30/06 110. With it your imagination is the limit.

An accutrigger will not fit on it so that narrows down your decision somewhat, but the SSS trigger is much better than that anyway. You wont be disappointed in it thats for sure.

For a carry gun a Timney or Riflebasix Sav-1 are good triggers to look at also.

All 3 are about the same price.

As far as the gun being plain, theres lots you can do yourself to fix that. A new stock can make itlook entirely different.

Savages are tinker toys. This gun started out as a 110CL back in the mid 80s. Timed & trued by Fred, an old style SSS trigger and the SSS stock

Thanks for the advice. What are the damages for timney or riflebasix? My gun has a wood stock and I was lookin to upgrade that aswell... any suggestions? This is deer hunting rifle so i guess I can't expect it to stay perfect forever
