Well, the Boyd's Evolution stock is on order for my Savage MKII FV-SR. DIP parts are on their way, including a 5MOA scope mount.
So I got the idea of mounting the OEM rail to the bottom front of the stock for a bipod mount, there's tons of pictures out
there with rails under there.
My question is, should this stock be drilled and the rail mounted with a machine threaded nut and bolt? Or, will wood screws be ok
?
