Another Oregonian here... Welcome! I happened on an old Savage 110E 30-06 last year in a gun shop in Albany and I haven't been the same since :-) I'm reloading for mine with strictly low velocity rounds powered by the cowboy shooter's powder, Trail Boss. It's a real hoot for me to punch big holes at 22LR velocities. I've since picked up three more of the old "Flat Back" 110s in 270, 223, and 7mm-08. Love them all.
