i have a old 22 rifle my grate grandfather had back in the 1950s , it is a mag fed savage it has patent nov 28 1905 sep 7 1915 sep 4 1917 nov 20 1917 on the barrel, it has a thin low blade front sight one screw in front of the bolt FACE in the barrel TOP some one added a MARBLES GLADSTONE MICH USA REAR flip up sight with right side ear pep , it has a huge rear bolt knob that cocks it going forward has 25 inch barrel, the chambers faces looks like a 23a FROM SIDE but not the same gun, it has a adjustable trigger with a hole in the tang for it to adjust it, , the mag says 22 l&lr savage arms corp pat april 28 1908 WITH machined NUT to pull it out, it has a steel but pad with a Indian SAY SAVAGE TRADE MARK, IT HAS A SUFFIX says VG , IS THIS A 1922 OR 1923 RIFLE, I THINK ITS A 1922 HAS A TWIN FIRING
PIN HEAD hits shell head twice, 22L 22LR ON TOP, any help would be cool

i think it is a pre 23a 1922 the only few images iv found on line is a spot on match to a 1922 but mine has a 25 1/4 inch barrel from closed bolt chamber face, it has a rear bolt knob like a krag rifle how many of these was made ONLY OTHER MARKS on the gun is VG stamped in front of the forehand in the barrel. no #s on the gun at all, its as is from when my grate grandfather got it in the early 1950s its
in a The Schnabel stock

its a 1922 the #s are in the 20,300 i found it back of the gun
