22 ammo availability

Does anyone else find it less than coincidental that now there is lots of 22 ammo available? For years it is nowhere to be found, now shelves are full of it. I heard the rumors during the last 8 years and was fairly convinced. Now I am 100% convinced. Really makes me angry we can be manipulated like that.

It could just be that everybody and their brother stopped buying up every box they would see whether they needed it or not.

Mr Furious, I guess you are a LOT more trusting of the previous administration, than I was/am. Like I said, it is WAY too coincidental.Kinda like how the guns sold illegally (as ordered by Holder) near the Mexico border just "happened" to show up at the cartels. Very odd coincidence.

Please be more specific. Who exactly do you believe the ammo companies were colluding with to NOT ship .22 ammo?

There is way more than there used to be. At least here. It has also been steadily coming back for almost a year. Its
convienent to blame politicians, but blame the hoarders. I know people with 100k rounds that shoot a couple times a year. He won't even sell me a brick because he doesn't want to open a case. It just got stupid. People were lined up in front of stores to get .22 ammo. Hell I heard a story from one guy that when the world ends, it will be the new currency and that's why he was collecting it

The military doesn't use it (that I know of) nor do the police of any other state run agency. the stock went down, people saw empty shelves and flipped out. It took the market nearly 2 years to rebound and because of it, .22 ammo costs twice as much.

Federal has three new types of 22LR ammo that are hitting the market. Just got these samples in the mail today for a B22 FV review that's on the docket. I believe the Hunter Match has already started shipping, and the other two will be very shortly if they haven't started already. All three types are HV at 1200fps.
