Does anyone know what base they are using on the model 11 scout? Or where to get one?
Is the hole spacing on the front of the receiver for the short actions the same as the long actions?

i'm thinking about trying one out on a 110 in 458 I've been tinkering with. It is a long action with flat rear.
So far the mount off the 11 scout looks like it would be the easiest to mount.

Are we talking about two piece mounts?

I've never seen one anywhere else. If it were me, I'd call Savage and see if they would sell you just the mount. I don't see why they wouldn't.

The mount for a scout is 6 5/8 long, measurements are to hole center spacing is
1st hole .200 from end.
1st to 2nd hole .860
2nd to 3rd hole 3.660
I took it off my new scout and went with regular mount . There is bigger scope selection that way. It really sucks jumping Bambi and with a 32mm 4x scope, it takes some time getting use too. LOL more than I have. Seemed a shame to limit a 21 century enfield.
