I've got a savage 12fv and I just want to see what other people have done with theirs. What stocks and such. Just looking for some inspiration for my build. Just picked one up for dirt cheap.

Here is a 260 Remington that I built off of a Savage 12FV from Cabelas.
SSS LVT stock
CBI 260 Rem Match Bull
Sav-2 Trigger (12 ounces)
Nightforce BR 12-42
Burris XTR Signature rings
Nightforce 20 moa base
Loves H4350 and 142 SMKs...
Best show so far was 200-18x at Midrange (600 yard) F-Open match
It shoots just under 1/2 moa pretty much all the time. Other than glass bedding the stock, I've not done anything else to the action.

Get some decent bases, rings, glass, (mine has a US made Burris Fullfield 2 4.5-14x42 in Leupold rings and base), Shoot it, and work up a load for it.
12BVSS just like it came from the factory. (of course I turned the accutrigger all the way down)

That's 8 consecutive shots at 120 yards from a sand bag, loads were done on a Lee Anniversary Kit with a Lee Deluxe die set (hand loading is the biggest accuracy improvement you can make to any properly functioning rifle) ,empty the mag, reload and empty the mag again, Squares are 1" and yeah that's a dime placed on the target for size comparison. And it shoots like this all day long and has for well over a decade. Not just a wallet group, it really does this all the time, every time, with this load. The only "building was the load and I have found that to be true with nearly every Savage I've ever owned. Like a good Savageaholic I have modified many of my rifles to suit my taste, but to get them to shoot well It always seems to be more in the load than the rifle.http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w188/bighonkinjeep/22-250/1d9b90cb-f4db-4c67-981b-6acf50e0537f_zpsbd1f7da6.jpg

I love it when someone shoots good groups with lee stuff.

Mine sports a 26 inch XC Stainless bull barrel these days.

Stock is an EABS Nutmeg Thumb Hole.

Call it an under-stated look from " cowntownup's. " (which I like)

I like the mix of the stainless and blued. The BTH111 looks a bit better as its the older shiny blue which I prefer.

Here is mine, it's a 12FLV though. Picked up a 12FV with the Cabela's sale, don't know how much I'm going to do with it yet.

Manners stock
Warne 20 MOA base
Bushnell 10x
PTG bottom metal w/AI mags
ER Shaw 308 barrel
Recoil lug, don't remember where I got it at.
