i have been reading about the model 12LRP, since i already have a model 10T in 6.5 CM, my son wants a 6.5 CM, i can give him mine and possibly get another one, is the 12 LRP a worthy gun to get, how would they compare on the bench for accuracy on the average.

Ok, the 10T in 6.5 is a good setup.

How accurate it is in a given gun is the luck of the draw. You have to separate out the outstanding 6.5 from a given barrel.

It should be docent (sub 3/4 MOA) and maybe very good (sub 1/2 MOA) but with production factory barrels there is a variability.

Its got a decent stock, a slightly better barrel with the 5R barrel than standards and the 6.5 is capable as a lights out shooter.

Exactly what you get when you buy a specific gun is open to variability.

That of course is whey we have returns and or different mfg barrels to put on it!

You also have to be able to shoot to the capability of the gun and that is darned hard.

My slightly less featured 12FV barrel (straight 4 grove not the 5R) looks to be sub 5/8 MOA.
