I intend to buy a Model 12 Varmint Low Profile .243 this spring. However, I want a laminate wood thumb-hole stock. I do not see a model 12 in .243 with this type of stock. Therefore I guess I will have to go aftermarket. Any suggestions on what to look for and who to buy from? I've been out of the shooting scene for 40 years and am now getting back into it. This might be a dumb question, but I still gotta ask it before I buy something that's not what I really need. All I intend to do with this gun is target shoot.
