Well I guide and hunt 6-8 months a year. So I always use scent killer soap and deodorant. Well yesterday Im taking a hunter deer hunting and I swear I feel like I got poison oak all over me. So Im really in bad shape and start talking to my client and he told me if you use that soap too long it will make you have skin problems. Have any of you heard of that. Because i feel like I rolled in poison ivy.

Yep It irritates me too as does the deodorant. Aggravating as heck.
I have found a couple of unscented products that work well for me and dont carry the "hunting" products premium price.
All free and clear detergent available most anywhere you buy laundry products is a good one.
Arm and hammer unscented deodorant works well without breaking me out.
Regular old dial white deodorant bar soap has a little scent of it's own but doesn't break me out, so i live with it :)

Thanks. Yeah I switched to good old baking soda and there deodorant and it cleared up.
I would have put money on it that I was surly going to die. I thought my B@!!$ were going to fall out I was scratching like a dang dope fien.
Ive used that soap for 15 years but those extra 2 weeks of deer season we got must have been long enough to bust me up.

Are talking about a green soap? I forget what it is called, but it is very effective but a serious health hazard. Many, if not all states have banned it.

You're not kidding.
A bar of that soap and some wool clothing would make waterboarding and electroshock obsolete!

Find some lye soap , it is all we used when I was a kid . I would think you could find it still in use in the Mennonite and Amish communities .
After a long day in the field I remember it cleaning really well and no scent that I can recall . If it didn't irritate kids skin it should be ok for adults I would think . Kenneth
