Ok I'm looking for an 10 short action with a .473 bolt face for a future build. Now if I was to pick one of the older staggered feed 4.27 spacing action up what stocks would work with it? Can you use detachable mags with them or not? Or should I look for the newer 4.4 spacing any tips would be great. It's going to be eithor a 6 creedmoore or a 22-243 I'm going to build both of these rifles. The 6 creed is going to be for long range target shooting and prairie dogs were the 22-243 is going to be strictly calling coyotes. Any help would be great.

If you definitely want a DBM I would stick to the newer centerfeed 4.40 short-actions as it will be much easier to find stocks for. Yes it can be done with 4.27" actions but you're limited to CDi's kit and a smaller selection of stocks.
