As title says. I just ordered some. They have a high b.c. And will will do fine in my 12 twist savage 22-250 I just need some load data or a start and end charge. Could I just go with hogdons info on a 60gr load data?? I have varget and imr 4064..
any input is greatly appreciated. I have been browsing the web all day and can't find any data except for how awesome they are for longer ranges.

Thanks in advance

Just use 60gr bullet load and work up

That bullet is on the marginal side for stability with that twist, it's just too long.
So while you may get it to stabilize in your atmosphere, you will not be able to get all the claimed BC from it.

But yes, just use any other 60gr data from a typical Cup & Core bullet.

I was thinking it was awful long for a 12tw

55gr nosler ballistic tips are longer and so are vmax I believe. Both shoot great out of my gun

And JLK recommends the 12twist for that bullet. All I needed was load data. I'm trying 65gr sierra gk's as well. Should shoot fine as well

55gr Vmax - 0.772" unknown tip length
55gr BT - 0.806' - .117' tip
60gr JLK - 0.805' no tip

Not saying it will be a train wreck, but perhaps marginal; This is predicated upon velocity obviously. @ 3700 fps, you only get a stability factor of 1.22. This is marginal on a calculator, YMMV at your specific atmosphere. But you won't get a hold on on the potential BC at that spin rate.

In my calipers right now as we speak. 55gr vmax 0.811"
55gr nosler is 0.808" I know JBM says other wise. That's overall length tip included.
So that leaves the JLK the shortest of the 3. B.C. But I'm sure it's gonna group **** good in a 12 twist since the longest ones do **** good? I'll find out when they get here

And no I may not get the potential bc it's for a max 500-600yard 22-250. Wanted something heavier to put the coyotes down

Just went back and read your first post and noticed these are the flat base low drag. I was thinking boat tail bullet. Anywho, if I was shooting the 60 gr bullet I would be thinking slower powder like a 43 gr compressed load of superperformance should get ya over 3700fps. Of course I wouldn't start there

Well I just shot the 65gr sierra game kings. 0.852" long. 33.5gr of varget gave me 0.239 3shot group. Testing both imr 4064 and varget. Both. My new coyote load
varget 33-34gr
imr4064 33-35gr
