Looking to upgrade the trigger on my Axis in 6.5creedmoor and was wondering which of these two triggers people are liking more? Looking to get my trigger pull down to around 3lbs or just under, and both of these seem to be able to fit the bill. What's the good word?

Timney

Timney is probably nice, but I went with Rifle Basix. I like that the RB trigger can go to 14 oz, and that is exactly what I have mine set to. I believe the RB is a bit cheaper, or was when I bought mine.

The RB is cheaper.. by about $10-20 depending on where you look. I too like that it can go down to 14oz (not that I would want to as this is my hunting rifle) although Timney does have a bigger name I have heard good things about the RB company.

I have been 100% happy with the Rifle Basix trigger. It took me about an hour to tweak everything just right and make sure it was safe. I don't think you can go wrong with either one. Both will be leaps and bounds better than the factory trigger.

Rifle Basix is what I use when I'm not shimming the factory trigger (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJijTbWe2wA&list=PL6mstF7_2-gm3WnoBZZ1QLpjIeoFWXqg9&index=3). The overtravel stop seems a bit more positive on the RB than the Timney, but that may just be subjective more than anything.

I just put a rifle basix in mine. my stick trigger was pulling at 7.5# under mine at 3#. no over travel at all. I kept just a little bit if creep in justbfor safety. all safety checks were good. installed in about 20 minutes including me making adjustments. I could have gone lighter it's a hunting rifle, I may lighten it up later. had it under a pound to play with it.

I have both right now, not a dime worth of difference in the 2

As mentioned, the Basix trigger is rated to go as low as 14 oz, which I can attest to. Lowest recommended on the Timney is 1.5 lbs.
