Are savage plastic stocks the same for top or bottom bolt release? Looking to switch stocks for a model 11 top release , detachable mag. S o was just wondering if the Tupperware
stocks were a universal fit. Thanks

No they are not, but can easily be trimmed if you have a bottom bolt release stock and a top release action. You may need to swap out the trigger guard also, depending on the inletting of the stock.

The reason im asking is that I recently rebarreled my model 11 with a heavier barrel from BHW and I need a stock with a wider channel. I found what I think I want but its not stated what bolt release it has. This model description is for several model 11 and 16 actions. It has a wider channel with dm style. I guess I have to call and see.
