Hello I am joining to learn more. I have 3 99s. I have a 20s 30/30 takedown, a 300 savage takedown cased set with 410, and my gun in question a takedown 300 savage with a neat leather case. I believe it to be an f as it has a straight stock with no checkering. My question is relating to manufacture dates. The serial number is 323,xxx which puts it around 1929 but it also has a lever boss code of k which puts it in 1959? Any thoughts?
