Hi folks.

Canadian here, Vancouver area. I own a few rifles, such as a rem 700, Ruger scout, and a Savage 116 classic with a stainless barrel. I mainly use them for plinking and hunting, nothing more nothing less.

I signed up for a bit of help with the savage. Looking for some ideas on a new stock but it seems that there isn't much out there. Perhaps this forum can help?

Hi Juno, I also live in the Vancouver area. Welcome. There are a few options for aftermarket stocks. If you want to support a Canadian company try Modular Driven Technologies. They are in Chilliwack. There is a web based store out of the Okanagan called mystic precision. The owner, Jerry is very knowledgeable about Savage rifles and posts a lot of great information on canadiangunnutz.ca
