Evening fella's, I have a question as I can't seem to really find any information on it and thought I may ask some of the guru's here. I have a M93 in 17HRM and I BELIEVE it's the Classic..... looks like a real rifle anyway and I'm getting rid of my 17HRM's as well I'm going to stick with the centerfire 17 calibers, the gentleman I bought this from said he thought it may have been fired 40-50 times and spent the rest of it's time in his safe and well since I got it from him it has been in my safe. The only thing I can find wrong with the rifle is 2 rather small bubbles in the finish and I was looking for what I should try to sell the rifle for? the rifle is sexy as hell but it's not doing me any good and I'd rather find it a good home.

I did have another Savage in 17HRM and well let's just say the two of us didn't see eye to eye! it never met my range requirements for accuracy. Any direction you can point me towards information about the little Classic would be awesome! Later,

Kirk

Yes I've had a difficult time finding much info on them. I always liked the looks of these but after I finally shot my other 17HMR I decided I'd stick with the centerfire versions so decided to get rid of my HMR's and this is the last one. Thanks for the link I guess my search foo isn't all that great as I didn't pull that one up. Later,

Kirk

Try searching Google for "Savage mark II Classic". Same gun, just in 22LR and it will net you more results. Saw a new-in-box leftover listed on ArmsList for $400 if that helps any.

Helps a lot! it's a pretty rifle but I've been cleaning out my 17 hmr's and this is the last one. Later,
