Choate Tactical Stock and Sinclair F-Class Bipod

I am having a little problem mounting my Sinclair Gen-II F-Class bipod to my Choate Tactical stock. The problem is the stud part of the bipod adapter is too long, and the bipod will not tighten up enough. I have looked at the Harris #6 and 6A adapters but wanted to see what you have done to resolve a similar issue.............Thanks in advance!
