Newbie to this forum, not so much to Savage. Bought my first Savage many years ago in my mid 20's if I remember correctly. It was a 116 Weather Warrior in .30-06 without a removable magazine. Had the AccuStock but was pre AccuTrigger and I really liked it. I kept it for several years before finally selling it to help pay for a move. A few years after that I purchased another 116 Weather Warrior, the FCSS, also in .30-06. This time it was a removable magazine and a combination of AccuStock and AccuTrigger. She's currently wearing a Nikon Monarch 3 2.5-10X42 scope in the silver finish (I wanted it to look as good as it shot :smile-new: ). So far it's only been shot at the range a couple times, where I'm living now unfortunately doesn't have anywhere for we non-landowners to hunt. I have several other rifles and handguns and, honestly, I don't really have a use for the Savage anymore but I got a great deal on it and it's still practically a new rifle and it looks great and it shoots great and I do enjoy shooting it occasionally and I can't make myself get rid of it.
So that's about it for me. I came across this forum and figured there was probably plenty of information related to my gun here that I could learn so here I am.
