10 t bold handle

i am curious if anyone knows if the knurled bolt handle on the savage 10T is threaded on the the bolt. can it be removed.

I have never seen a factory bolt handle that was threaded

It's not threaded but is very easy to remove and swap for a different one. I switch all of my savages to either that style or the large tear drop

It comes off as an assembly from the bolt.

Its not integral to the body of the bolt.

With some thought you could probably smooth it out if that's an issue.

Tons of types out there and cost is not bad. A knob would pretty much cost close to the same.

I am pretty bolt agnostic, really make no matter to me large, small, round, flat, its just a lever.

It did occur to me that the knurls would annoy me though.
