I don't know if this has been discussed before, but while changing my f10 savage stock over to a Boyds thumbhole, I discovered that the buttpad from the f10 will work on the thumbhole stock with very little effort. Doing this gave me the 1" length of pull I needed and gave additional padding (mine is .308) . Just move the top screw hole on the thumbhole stock up approx. 1/4 in. and everything lines up. I am adding a metal band between the stock and pad for additional support.
