Looking to switch my stealth from 308 to 6.5 creedmoor. Anyone have any recommendations on what barrel to use?

Been looking into it a little, E.B Shaw, Criterion have fits. Interested n what your research turns up. Savage swapped my 22" 6.5 for 24" and it shoots very nicely (<1/2 MOA)

Wonder if they will put a 24" 6.5 on mine lol. The .308 doesn't shoot like it should!

Join and there is a great deal on a factory 6.5 in classifieds right now.

I plan on joining. Just wondering what brand/ contour would be recommended. If I'm going to go through changing the barrel o figured there would be a better aftermarket barrel than a factory.

How are you going to use it? Hunting, Bench or long range makes all the difference in the decision. BTW the one in the classifieds is already gone. It didn't last an hour. As far as changing the barrel goes, after your tooled up and done the initial take down its a 10 min job at most.

Jim at Apache does great work with Green Mountain blanks, and CBI and X-Caliber are solid choices as well. Personally I like the Remington Sendero contour .830 @ the muzzle, for the Hunting/Target Combo but thats just me.
