Center feed conversion to DBM build help

My donor action is from a mdl 16 in 243 stainless center feed. The build is for my son who wants a DBM so he can get extended 10 rd mags. I have a brand new take off barrel from a mdl 12VLP 26” in 308 stainless. He would like to build a 308 on a Choate Tactical stock with DBM. Never converted from center feed to DBM so you guy’s input would be very helpful.

Done this a couple times. Just a matter of getting the bottom metal.
