Trigger Trading?????

I have an older 110 pre acutrigger flat back rifle that is just under 2lb. trigger pull.I am setting up a newer flat back 10 that has a 4 lb trigger pull as the best I can get. I was wondering about changing the triggers?? The one with the sear adj. is diffrently shaped than the nonadjustable mod. 10 which causes concerns about safety working . does anyone have experience with a trade like this can I just swap triggers ? Can I swap the whole units?? Thanks for the advice in advance.

What did you do to the trigger?
Did you change the spring?
Are you looking at an after market trigger?

I've swapped a OEM trigger for a SAV-2, it was a direct swap.

The trigger that's just under 2lb has a .042 spring replacing the original but using the same spring in the non sear adjustable trigger nets no gain at all? not looking at an aftermkt trigger. these are oem
