Only been a savage owner for a couple years now, bought a used savage 110 300 win mag and have enjoyed shooting it from day one. Killed a couple elk with it so far and been fairly happy with performance. Only been able to get it to shoot right at 1moa so far with handloads but honestly think that is more my fault. Have a winchester model 70 7mm rem mag that was my first hunting rifle that I love for the smaller stuff, but ready to retire to the safe. So looking for a donor action to make an antelope/deer rig next but also something fun to shoot out to 1,000+. Still trying to decide on caliber, will most likely go with either 280ai, 6.5-284 or 284win. Look forward to checking out the forums and hopefully sharing my build once I get started.
