Hey all,

Do any of you have load data for the .41mag and HS-6 using cast or plated bullets? I have a bunch of 210gr bullets I'd like to load up, but unique is hard to find here and I have a surplus of HS-6. Thanks in advance1

They are gonna be pretty light shooting, if you can call it that with a 215 g slug. I am seeing 8.5-9.5 g hs-6 under a cast 215 as one option.

Or look into buying the Lyman manual.

According to my Hodgdon's #26 manual, for 200-210 gr. jacketed they list a start of 9.5gr. (923 fps) and a max of 11.5 gr. (1084 fps)

HS-6 is kind of a fast burning powder with such a heavy bullet weight, after all it is a Magnum. You will find a great deal of more load data if you used a slower burning powder IE H110,IMR-4227. The Police Load for the 41 Remington Magnum in 1964 was a 210 Gr LSWC @ 1150 FPS & 616 FPE. from a S&W model 58 or 57 with a 6 inch barrel.
